On 8 February 2009 the Royal wedding of H.R.H. Davit Bagrationi Mukhran Batonishvili with H.R.H. Anna Bagrationi-Gruzinsky Batonishvili will be celebrated and the ceremony will be officiated in the cathedral of Tbilisi by H.H. the Patriarch Illa II. The President of the Goverment of Georgia will attend the ceremony. The religious ceremony will begin at 4 P.M. Afterwards the cocktail party and dinner gala will take place in a building near the Cathedral. |
El próximo 8 de febrero de 2009, se celebraran los esponsales de S.A.R. Davit Bagrationi Mukhran Batonishvili con S.A.R. Anna Bagrationi-Gruzinsky Batonishvili, ceremonia que oficiara en la catedral de Tbilisi S. S. el Patriarca Illa II. A la ceremonia asistirá el presidente del gobierno de Georgia. La ceremonia religiosa empieza a las 16.00. Seguidamente en un edificio anexo a la Catedral se celebrará el Cóctel-Cena de Gala.

The agreement resulting from the marriage of H.R.H brings an end to any possibility of dynastic dispute in Georgia, as the bride is a princess of the Bagrationi-Grusinsky Royal House, a branch of the Bagrationi family which claimed a hypothetical right to the head of the royal house of Georgia.
